BLENDING PANELS FOR MANUFACTURING AND FOOD PACKAGING:
WHAT MIXED GAS CAN DO FOR THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR:
Mixed gases are and invaluable consumable in the welding & manufacturing sector. The correct gas mixture will greatly improve productivity and the quality of your manufacturing process.
Due to the higher flow rates required for these process, gases are often delivered in bulk pallets of pure gas rather than in individual mixed gas cylinders. It is vital, in this case, that an accurate, affordable and reliable gas mixer be positioned at the end of the gas supply chain to provide a consistent final gas mixture to the process.
We believe in trying to make any gas mixing installation simple to use and affordable. This is evident by the removal of any electrical components, the requirement for a buffer vessel and the provision for a factory pre-set gas mixtures. Ongoing maintenance is very simple and low cost with no solenoid valves to replace.
WHAT MIXED GAS CAN DO FOR THE FOOD PACKIGING SECTOR:
Mixed gases are invaluable to the food processing and packing industries. The correct gas combinations are paramount for the preservation of food and beverage products greatly improving shelf life.
All sorts of food products benefit from a controlled atmosphere or modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). Often different mixes are required at various stages of production.
The most common is the 30% Carbon Dioxide in Nitrogen gas mix. This is used for a lot of products especially at the retail packaging stage. In this mixture, Nitrogen is used to exclude oxygen, reduce oxidation and inhibit mold growth.
Another common mix is a high Oxygen concentration combined with a balance gas of Carbon Dioxide, 80:20% respectively. This mixture is recommended for red or uncooked meats, keeping it looking fresh for longer.
