NITROGEN GENERATORS

We ensure that every nitrogen generator we sell and install, exceeds our customer’s expectations, regardless of the unique application.

Southern Gas Services have been proudly working along side South-Tek Systems for many years. Our exclusive partnership has enabled us to supply OEM generators which benefits our customers directly in several ways. Direct connection to the manufacturer translates into a system that is designed specifically for your production application, that is reliable, cost effective, safe and convenient.

South-Tek Systems like us are commited to providing innovative, highly engineered, quality, and support.

We personally rely on the simplicity and reliability of PSA gas generation and run several generators at our Head Office factory in Christchruch.  Have a look through the models listed below and if you have any further questions please contact us directly for a quotation for a generator based upon your current requirements.

NITROGEN GENERATOR MODELS AVAILABLE

LABORATORY, INDUSTRIAL & HOSPITALITY

N2-GEN® COMPACT

The N2-Gen® PSA nitrogen gas generation technology guarantees consistent high purity nitrogen gas up to 99.999% pure with flow rates up to 37 l/min, all within a compact foot print.  The CPi unit is fitted with an internal compressor while the CPx requires an external source of compressed air.  Both options include a standard control panel which displays run status, filter replacement reminders and a run-time hour meter.  The PLUS version includes a full PLC controller and display with the option of an online oxygen content analyser which allows for real time N2 purity monitoring. Typical ROI on either model is approximatley 12-14 months.

N2-GEN® TS SERIES

The N2-Gen® TS series of nitrogen generators is supplied with its own nitrogen buffer vessel located on one highly portable skid platform. The TS PSA generator is capable of producing nitrogen gas with purities ranging form 95 – 99.999% with flow rates up to 509 l/min at a maximum pressure of 115 psig. As with the systems described above, the unit is full automatic and production begins when demand downstream is sensed and switches off when nitrogen product is no longer required. The generator comes standard with a PLC control which fully monitors the production of nitrogen which can be checked by the operator at a glance.

N2-GEN® CS SERIES

The N2-Gen® CS series of nitrogen generators is capable of generating nitrogen gas with purities from 95% to 99.999% with flow rates from 22 L/min to over 1,000 l/min at a maximum outlet pressure of 115 psig. An external nitrogen storage buffer vessel is required.  The unit is fully automatic and production begins when demand downstream is sensed and switches off when nitrogen product is no longer required. The generator comes standard with a PLC control which fully monitors the production of nitrogen which can be checked by the operator at a glance.  Optional oxygen analysers can be installed on any of the units.

N2-GEN® S SERIES

The N2-Gen® Skid (S) series of nitrogen generators are designed for high purity and high capacity nitrogen applications.  These generators are capable of generating nitrogen gas with purities from 95% to 99.999% with unlimited flow rates, at a maximum outlet pressure of 115 psig.  Multiple generators can be coupled together to meet your production requirements.  Systems have a life expectancy of more that 20 years.  As with previous CS model a nitrogen gas buffer storage vessel is required.  These systems are fully automatic, come standard with a PLC installed. An oxygen analyser is available upon request.

TYREBLAST® -TYRE FILLING SYSTEM

Nitrogen filled tyres have two distinct advantages over those filled with standard compressed air 1) inflation pressure remains more constant and 2) elimination of oxygen both processes increases the life span of the tyre.

TyreBlast® generators are on-demand, quiet and compact units that can be wall mounted or on the nitrogen storage vessel itself.  These generators push compressed air through a series of  semi-permeable membrane cartridges to mechanically separate the nitrogen molecules from the air.  The nitrogen is stored ready for tyre inflation.

BEERBLAST® -MIXED GAS DISPENSE SERIES

The BeerBlast® mixed gas dispense systems provides the exact blend of carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) for protecting and dispensing the kegged product.

BeerBlast® generators range from 3 – 14 Kegs per hour in capacity and can be supplied with or without an integrated gas blender.  Gas blenders allow for the provision of 2 mixed gas blends along with the supply of pure nitrogen, for wine and pure carbon dioxide for post-mix dispensing.

BREWBLAST® -NITRO GAS DISPENSE SYSTEM

The BrewBlast® nitrogen gas dispense system is specifically designed for nitro-cold brew coffee applications.  The BrewBlast® produces ultra-pure nitrogen for pre-nitrogenating or pouring cold brew coffee.  The BrewBlast® generates high quality nitrogen gas at 99.8% purity by utilizing dual bed PSA technology.  BrewBlast® generators range from 70 – 350 cups per hour in capacity and have the best value in nitrogen generation technology.

TYPICAL NITROGEN GENERATOR INSTALLATION

All nitrogen generation systems, large or small, contain the same components, just in varying sizes and configurations.

In order to separate the nitrogen gas from the air mixture at room temperature, it must be compressed to a minimum pressure of 100 psig (approx. 7 barg).  Once the air is compressed it is then filtered, cooled and the moisture is removed via a refrigerated dryer resulting in very clean and dry air (Dewpoint -70 C).  The input air quality is a significant factor in maintaining the longevity and purity of the overall system.  The process air is then feed onto the PSA beds where the air is separated into its components.  In the case of nitrogen gas, all other components are considered as contaminants and are retained on the molecular sieve within the towers and expelled as waste gas during the purge cycle of the process.

Because the system constantly cycles from a state of production, to purge/recycling, the gas produced is not supplied as a continuous stream therefore, a buffer vessel is required to smooth out the gas supply and provide a small storage reservoir.

Maintenance is as simple as changing filters on the generator and following the manufacturers advice on any standalone compressors.

Life expectancy of our equipment is estimated at greater than 20 years.  We currently have PSA generators that have been performing day after day for the last 16 years.
